Broken Smile

Alex Jimenez aka Sonrisa Rota Tattoo was born in 2000 in a town outside Barcelona.

Tattooing is something that has always been very present in his family. He remembers from a very young age always being the chaperone and being stunned for hours, while watching something that seemed impossible to do.

At the age of 12 he discovered graffiti, thanks to some great friends he made.

He was encouraged to get a tattoo in 2018.

“I could say that what most resembles my style is neotraditional, influenced by the elegance of art nouveau but generating only contrasts with black, although in some cases I even add a hint of color, something I am not yet comfortable with and would like to learn more about in the future.
