Joan Taltavull

Joan Taltavull grew up on the island of Menorca, hence his passion for the sea and the Mediterranean character of his work.

Surrounded by old biology and botany illustration books, when he got out of the water, he put everything he observed on paper…

He trained in fashion, design and illustration… Soon after he started tattooing.

His primarily blackwork style is characterized by fine lines, textures and naturalistic and descriptive illustrations.
