Tattoo aftercare tips
Proper aftercare is essential for optimal healing of your tattoo, avoiding infections and ensuring that the design remains perfect.

Protective film
Our studio uses two types of protective film that must be left on for a certain time depending on the type chosen by your tattoo artist.
– For derma film leave on for 2/3 days.
– For transparent film leave to act 3/4 hours
Once removed, begin the aftercare routine.
Removes derma film
From that point on, the aftercare routine can begin.
If the second skin film peels off before 3 days, do not worry, just start with the following aftercare.

Keep tattooed skin clean
Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo. Use a neutral PH soap without perfume and without alcohol.
Gently clean the freshly tattooed skin and rinse well, dry the tattoo with paper towels.
Nourish your skin
Apply a tattoo cream to the tattooed skin after washing and drying it,
1-2 times a day, every day for about 1 week to 10 days, when the skin feels tight. Be careful not to over moisturize, as this can lead to infection.

Avoid sun exposure
Keep the tattooed area out of the sun for at least a few weeks.
Only once cured, use sunscreen to protect it.
Avoid being summergido in the water
Avoid immersion in common water areas such as the beach, swimming pools, Jacuzzis or bath tubs.
Choose clothes carefully
Do not use anything that can adhere to the tattoo.
or rubbing may irritate your skin.
Allow up to 3 weeks for healing
During the healing process, your tattoo will peel and itch.
This is normal, as your skin is rebuilding. Do not touch the scabs or scratch them!
Special tattoo placement
Not all tattoos require film and sometimes the aftercare changes from the usual. Some of these locations include: fingers, hands, neck, feet, pubic area, buttocks, face and behind the ear.
Paying special attention to the aftercare of your tattoo is especially important for tattoos, as it will allow it to heal quickly and keep it in good condition for years to come..
If you have a tattoo on your hand, we recommend that you take a few days off. It is also extremely important to know that hand, finger and foot tattoos fade faster and often require multiple touch-ups.
As for foot tattoos, consider what type of shoes you normally wear, so you can avoid friction and rubbing.
For facial tattoos, refrain from your daily facial wash, moisturizer and anything else you may use for skin care, to avoid irritation and discoloration, only use a PH neutral soap and tattoo cream on the tattooed area only.
After getting a neck tattoo, try not to move it too much and avoid high collared shirts.
When you get a tattoo behind the ear, when washing your hair make sure to rinse the shampoo well as it is not very good for the tattooed area.
For tattoos in the pubic area or on the butt, be sure to wear loose-fitting underwear (or if you can, no underwear at all) and loose-fitting clothing to avoid friction and rubbing on the new tattoo.
